Community Resources:

Dear Parents,

We are pleased and honored that parents consider Lakewood Public Schools as an educational choice for their students. Our community is proud of our facilities, high quality of service, staff and the educational opportunities we provide for students. We have some of the best educational facilities in the area for our students to work in. With the recent addition of the technology infrastructure in each building, the student use of technology will be an emphasis for our teachers.

We are proud to be a part of a community that values education. The staff at Lakewood Public Schools works hard to provide individualized education programs that allow each student to excel. This, along with our dedicated teaching staff, challenging curriculum and programs we position our students to accomplish our school vision; Preparing our students for success.

We know well the trust that parents, students and community members place in us. We do our very best to communicate with parents and families to nurture a strong school/home partnership. We value our school and broad community, and work to keep the community informed of events and happenings of the school community.

These are a few of the reasons to choose Lakewood Public Schools. Please explore our website and learn about us. Parents are welcome to contact the district to make arrangements for a tour or to visit any of our school programs.

Together for Safety and Excellence,

Randall J. Fleenor, Superintendent
