The Lakewood Public Schools district and the Board of Education would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school system. We are in the midst of significant changes to our schools. We are in the final stages of major renovation to our schools. Woodland and Sunfield Elementary have each had extensive work done to the buildings. Clarksville Elementary had an all purpose room added in the spring of 2008. West Elementary will be upgraded next summer. The High School has also been totally renovated along with the addition of a new science wing, auditorium, performance gym, auto and wood shops. Each of our buildings will also receive a major upgrade to technology. When completed, Lakewood Public Schools will have outstanding facilities and the technology available to our teachers and students to meet their needs.
